I dont know why lately, but i have just had such a HUGE burden for families who have recently lost babies, or families who have children born with a range medical issues.
R & I were in church last Wednesday night and there was this young couple in front of us, probably early to mid 30’s, and they had a son who was crippled. There was a walker next to their chairs and you could see he had difficulty standing. His mom & dad were holding him up while the music was playing so he could worship. It was the MOST heart wrenching thing. I literally could not stop crying. (I rarely cry in church). People probably thought i had some serious thing going on in my life, but that wasn’t it at all, i just was weeping for this sweet, young boy.
The tears just would not stop flowing. I prayed for him to be healed. I prayed that God would just perform a miracle in his life. And i believed and still believe that He can. He is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow, so why if he could heal and raise people from the dead in “Bible Days” could he not do a miracle in this boys life today. I just believe that he will. I dont even know these people, but i am believing for a miracle in their lives.
I wonder if people with healthy children realize how blessed they are? I pray every day for our future children that arent even in existence yet, that God will protect them, and make them healthy and whole, and Holy. That they will be set apart for him.
I wanted to share with you some links of blogs that i read of parents who have either lost children or have children with major medical issues so you can be praying for them or thinking about them. Take some time to thank God that your children are healthy. If your children do have medical issues, know that God can perform a miracle in their lives. It may not always be the way our human minds can understand, and unforunately, we may not always see their healing, but i know that in ALL things God works together good for those that love Him.
He is working out everything to your Good sweet one. Believe Him.
I love this scripture out of Revelation that talks about Heaven, and about how there will be any curse on Humanity:
</i>”Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.”
Now on to the blogs:
One of my favorite bloggers is Megan from In This wonderful Life. I actually emailed her the other day, and she responded and was so sweet!
Last year, she and her husband lost their sweet baby Cohen just days after he was born. You can read about his story by clicking HERE.
And this year, God actually blessed them with TWINS! Can you believe it? They are ADORABLE! You have to check out their nursey. It is stunning!
Ani and Matt Taylor from, Just for the Record, recently lost their sweet baby girl, Ruby Jane. My heart just broke when i read about the sweet babies battle. They started a Foundation for Ruby already, and so if you would like more information on that, visit their blog.
Kara Sikes and her husband from, Jamsie Beats the Tumor, recently lost their sweet baby boy, James. He is ADORABLE. And literally, i could cry just telling you about it. He is in Heaven now, but my heart breaks for this family. Please keep them in your prayers. And visit their website to find more information about James’ fund & also read his story.
Courtney from,EB-ing a Mommy, shares about caring for her son who has a rare condition called EB. It is heart breaking, but it is so encouraging to see Tripp and how happy he is. It hurts me that he has to hurt, and i know it has to break his mothers heart as well, but he is a strong little thing! Please visit Courtney’s blog, and read about Tripp, and continue to pray for his healing as well.
I could go on and on and on. If you visit these blogs, you will find links to several more blogs on children who have either gone to heaven, or are fighting a battle of some kind.
I am not trying to upset anyone, or be negative by any means, but i think we need to be aware that their are people hurting, their are tradgedies that are not far from where you are. These are real people. It’s important to live an informed life, and to be a source of love and encouragement to those around you who may be struggling with loss, or pain, or discouragement and the list could go on and on.
In the end, i know this–GOD WINS. Right now, this temporary pain is here, but i know that God wins. His LOVE conquers all.
Please pray for these families. Lift them up.
